Latency:
Unfortunately, there's currently no way to reduce recording latency, but we're actively working on a solution that should resolve this in the near future. In the meantime, you’ll need to manually adjust the recording in time to compensate for the delay.
For remote recording without latency issues, a good workaround is to have your collaborator record themselves locally into their own DAW while sharing their screen and DAW audio. You can then use screen control to engineer their session remotely.
Echo:
If you're hearing an echo while recording a collaborator into your DAW, it's likely because you're hearing their audio twice: once through monitoring in your DAW and once through the Muse App. To eliminate the echo, turn off monitoring in your DAW. If your collaborator wants to hear themselves, they'll need to monitor locally through their audio interface or DAW.
We're actively working on reducing latency in recordings and improving the remote recording experience. Thank you for your patience as we continue to make these improvements.
