Windows device errors

On Windows, some devices can only be accessed by one app at a time. This means that if you're already using your camera in Zoom, or a MIDI device in your DAW, Muse won't be able to access it.

You'll likely see something like this:

If you see an error like this, you'll need to remove the device in the app that already has control of it so Muse can use it. Once the competing app is closed, you should be able to select it in Muse normally. In the worst case, you'll need to restart Muse to begin using the device (like with MIDI).

If you're still having issues with the device in Muse and you're using a browser, make sure the browser has permissions enabled.
