- To share audio straight from your computer, click "Add Music Device" in the Muse Mixer and check “Muse Audio Share" under Computer Audio Audio. This will automatically switch your computer output to "Muse Audio Share".
- The "Computer Audio" Input should now pop up on your Muse mixer. You can mute, adjust the volume with the fader, or click on the gear icon to adjust audio quality.
- If your computer’s output is set to Muse Audio Share, you won’t be able to adjust the volume using your keyboard controls. To change the volume, switch your output back to your regular speakers (e.g., MacBook Pro Speakers), adjust the volume, and then switch back to Muse Audio Share.
Remember: When sharing Pro audio in a Muse session without headphones, your signal can be doubled: once through the actual audio device you’re sharing, and again when the audio passes from your speakers through the microphone. This is because echo cancellation is disabled with Pro Audio. To prevent this, you can wear headphones, mute your microphone, or enable push-to-talk on your microphone.
