- If you share computer audio or DAW audio on Muse while using your speakers as the output, you’ll notice the playback audio gets picked up by your microphone and causes everyone in the session to hear an unwanted echo.
- To fix this, click on the dropdown next to the mute button next to your microphone in the Muse mixer and enable "Auto Mute."
- With Auto mute enabled, the corresponding input will be muted when audio is detected from another source and unmuted once the audio stops. If Auto Mute is activated, your Mute icon will turn red.
.
Note: Only the device with auto mute enabled will be muted.
- If you’d like to adjust the attack, release, or threshold of your Automute, head to Muse’s audio settings. Just click the gear icon in the top-right corner of your session to open the settings menu.
