- To record your screen, click on the Record button at the bottom of the main view > "Session Recording Settings" and make sure you have the correct settings (ie. recording the correct screen)
- Selecting "only record session audio" will not capture any video. Make sure this is unchecked if you want to record your screen.
- Click "Start Local" to begin recording. Next time, Muse will remember your settings, so you can start a local recording right from the main view without reopening the recording settings.
- Note: Screen recordings on Muse will capture all audio shared in the session including all microphones, audio devices, computer audio, and Muse plugin audio. e.g. If you want to capture your DAW audio, make sure there is a muse plugin on your DAW's master track and you can see the "DAW audio" input on your Muse mixer.
- Muse will indicate your are recording your screen by show you a yellow bar at the top. YOu can move or collapse this if it's in the way.
Once you're done recording the screen, click on "Stop".
- The screen recording file will automatically be saved on your computer under Documents > Muse > Screen Recordings.
-
To change the location of your saved file, go to Recording settings and change the file path under Save Location.
Note: Cloud recording is only available for users on an enterprise plan. Email contact@musesessions.co if you are interested in an enterprise plan.
