Downloading Muse
- Head over to www.musesessions.co/download and download the correct version of muse for your computer.
- After download, make sure to restart your computer to ensure audio drivers are installed properly.
- Once you open the Muse app, a series of permissions windows will pop-up. Click through the permissions as prompted and click continue.
Hosting or joining a session
- You can either join or host a session. To join a session, click the session link or enter the session code provided by the host.
- Before entering a session, you’ll see an Overview settings page where you can select the talkback microphone, speakers, and camera you want to use for the session.
- You can also add additional audio inputs, choose mono and stereo channels from your device, and change the audio quality below.
- Click "Start Session". Note: You may return to the settings page anytime by clicking the gear icon on the top right of your session.
Inviting collaborators
- Once you're in a session, you can invite collaborators by clicking Collaborators > Invite Collaborators. You can either share the session link or type in their usernames.
- When someone follows the session link, they can join from the Muse app or as a guest from the browser. Guests will have limited features, but this is great to have someone quickly join a listening session.
